that’s the long and short of it but it gets even worse than that. the CEO is known to be free-wheeling with investor money and irrational/critically arrogant. once an article came out that revealed he donated to a certain politician to grease the wheels in Nevada, that is said to have enraged him and he threw a tantrum in his office.

He also had his former CFO donating to certain politicians after they had hit their personal limit. Then after they fired the guy theyre accused of continuing to sign documents under his name for a few days. I highly recommend reading the lawsuit from that CFO. whole company’s culture is rotten from the bottom to the top

The marketing is effective. Their stores are cash machines. However their eyes are bigger than their stomachs. They have a ton of money tied up in real estate and licensing in states that they haven’t even broken ground in. They have 30+ licenses for individual shops that aren’t operational. That means a shitton of red minuses all over the country.
