Crypto's ridiculous pumps over the last little while has pretty much destroyed my chances of ever investing in it again. It's so obvious that they are pumping it up with fakery of all sorts, including volume. Crypto is now pretty much centralized to a handful of active exchanges, which, as one of the few smart things Faketoshi has ever said, are the casinos of the crypto world. I don't think crypto has a future. But let's say it does: what then? Assuming you were around for the 2017 bull run, why do you think you are going to know when to sell and leave the other froglets with your bags? Why is next time going to be different? Because inflation means the market is not healthy, and if you don't understand why now, you may if you try to cash out down the line. The real money left crypto when the fake money did, and now almost the entire market is fake. If the real money is not there for you to withdraw because the exchanges you trade on operate as a Ponzi scheme, betting your money on leveraged positions on Bitmex and Bitfinex (what they call 'cold storage'), you know what's going to happen when you try to withdraw it? You won't get your money.

It didn't have to be like this.

It was pretty obvious if you aren't retarded this was going to happen. Look at all the little shakeout tests that happened leading up to the pump.
