THIS is why Bitcoin Cash was forked, and this is why Craig is so intent to make unbounded blocks, restore the original op codes, and lock down the protocol. Back to hash power – CSW has developed a breakthrough new asic (designed by his AI actually), and is mining BTC in secret for the sole purpose of driving up the difficulty sky-high, then yanking them all over to BSV leaving the segwit chain hard frozen.

it's not that simple first of all those coins are the same coins craig claimed ownership of (with no proof provided whatsoever) when he scammed $50 million out of the australian tax office. then the kleiman estate sued him over them and some more. it's unclear if this happened before or after creg tried to pull a con on them. but the coins in question partly belong to mtgox and partly to some mtgox whale and a few other random wallets. most of it can be sufficiently proven to have no ties to creg.

Yes that what it is about. The case boils down to if Dave and Craig mined together and if Ira, Dave's brother has a legal right to some of the coins. Another question is wether craig made bitcoin alone or if it was in a formal partnership with dave. I'm not sure why this is brought up, but it may be because Ira wants his hands on some IP related to bitcoin. As you may know, Dave is ded, so Ira is doing everything he can to get his hands on daves share of the coins and IP. Craig's stand is that he don't hold any coins that belonged to dave and that he created bitcoin, and that Dave only helped proof reading the whitepaper and other things. Thus not a formal partnership. It is worth noting that craig never claimed. That comes from Ira Kleiman

Nothing. that's a different case, which is a done deal and Craig won. It was about the Australian tax office taking one of his companies to court for claiming more tax returns that he was obliged to. Craig won the case and it turned out he had actually claimed too little tax return.
