it used to be a lot easier when /r/darknetmarkets was around, they had all the links to the sites and people reviewed vendors. i'm not sure how people keep up on that now... I know there are various darknet forums, but those just seem less reputable.

Here's the basic process for buying drugs online:
- boot into an encrypted linux VM (optional, but ideal)
- download tor browser if you haven't already, get online
- find a good darknet site. make an account. sometimes you need an invite code and can find one on a forum or something
- find a vendor that's selling what you want. check their reviews, find one with lots of positive reviews and no demand to FE (finalize early)
- deposit btc into the site (it's usually btc, sometimes xmr/zec)
- place an order with that vendor; you'll need to get their GPG key, import it into your gpg software, encrypt your address w their public key. Use your real name and everything, it's more suspicious to use a fake name
- The money will stay in escrow on the site; do NOT release funds to the vendor until you get your product. Sometimes vendors will ask you to FE (finalize early). don't do it, you have no recourse if you get ripped off.
- Eventually you get the package. it won't be obvious, the return address might be a dentist in colorado or a PO box somewhere.
- Release funds to the vendor and leave a nice review.

The likely outcome if something goes wrong is you get a "love letter" from the USPS. it basically says "Hey your package was suspicious, come to the post office to get it if you want." Don't go get it.

If the police do come to you with your name on a package, STFU, they have basically nothing and want to intimidate you into an admission. say nothing without a lawyer. don't let them in your house without a warrant

it's not that difficult to anonymize bitcoin. When shapeshift was around i'd buy xmr on bittrex, send it to shapeshift to trade to btc, then send to exchange.

Nowadays i'd recommend something like Wasabi wallet, or if you really want to get technical, some kind of submarine swap nonsense w lightning network.

definitely the scariest part. especially because vendors have shit ass opsec, and police go after the vendors. Some people use a PO box but you need an ID to get one so I don't see the point. I hear dead drops are becoming a thing in some places, that would be far safer.... vendor stashes drugs somewhere ahead of time, then when a purchase is made, all they send someone is the location and how to find it

if you can't see the point in dealing digitally and dead dropping with people close to you, you aren't paying attention
yeah, there's a 1% chance you get stopped on the to/from and a .1% chance anyone is watching your digital life, but one trip to prison is not worth it if there was something you could've done to avoid that. there's at least one guy sitting in prison right now, whose entire life is ruined, who will commit suicide or reoffend the day he's released because there's no hope for him, all because he got stopped on the way to his dealer. that's just a matter of large numbers.
