Why do you feel the need to fix a country? Get a better job or go to some cheaper country if you are poor.

unlike the US, Canada doesn't grow it's own oranges. which should be for obvious reasons.
>>13247327
also Canada doesn't subsidize it's farmers as much as the US, which brings it closer to communism in that regard.

This is literally being sold in the middle of nowhere in one of the territories. 99.9% of our country doesn't live anywhere where juice is that expensive.

it's still ridiculous i'm in Vancouver and it's $6 at save on or walmart when it's not on sale for 2.63 liters. $3.97 on sale.
cheaper to just buy a bag of oranges and juice it. anyway i only buy the things advertised on sale that week (plus side is things are seasonal so it's the best thing to buy anyway) and cook around that not even hard.

I can't believe americans don't realize that this shit is being sold in grocery stores literally in the middle of nowhere, like this is pretty much in the arctic circle in a territory bigger than Texas with a population less than 45k people.

The only answer to that is MORE government intervention, not less. They'd have to subsidize prices (more?)

No this is even further north than that. Fort McMurray is actually relatively normal priced. You can see where Fort McMurray is in the picture. The places you get expensive food like that are literally as remote as Inuvik and Iqaluit. There's literally nobody that lives there and to ship anything out that far costs a small fortune.
