How do you expect to time the market from sentiment? When people are yelling 100k it is because everyone is a buyer so this makes sense. But when we hit the bottom most people have sold off and lose interest in crypto so you will never hear from them. There is a heavy survivor bias the lower we go because only permabulls will still be holding and predicting 100k eoy with a few salty bears trying to short to 0 because they got burned somewhere near the top. If you look at /biz/ that is the type of sentiment we have been seeing for a while on top of crab market posters so this should be a fine potential bottoming level. Doesn't mean it is but if 3k was the bottom it shouldn't be that hard to believe.
