What's your profit taking strategy /biz?
I usually sell 70% when the coin hits 20% from initial buy-in and then sell everything left once it hits 50% profit.

i need to get gains to even worry about it. in another parabolic run i'll probably take 10% every 2x or something and use that to buy dips

I need to figure this out as well .. in 2017 I did something similar to your strategy to watch the coins moon to 5x-10x after I sold which felt equally bad as losing money at that point

I'd say 50% on x2 and ride the rest for a year

take linear profit from exponential gains, take exponential profit from linear drops

sell 10% of your holdings every 25% increase in price
sell 25% then 50% then 100% for every 10% drop from recent high

obviously these numbers need to be adjusted for the expected volatility of the asset, its expected growth and your risk management system for it

I take initial profit (70% of my position) when price reaches a certain technical level (confluence zone, key price level, trend line, moving average, Fib retracement etc.) using multiple time frame analysis, then I trail my stop. Some of my day trades evolve to swing trade and very rarely long-term position trades.
