Is anyone here a successful gambler or better? Thinking about sports betting. Problem is I don't like sports.

Wagerr. Either be the house or you just lose. It's that easy

Gotta get on that spread arbitrage. There are YouTube videos. Essentially, find two favorable lines from different houses, and you bet both sides. If you use the online calculators, you'll walk away with 3-5% depending on the lines.

played fulltime poker for 9 years. also massively profitable in nfl for last 5 seasons. Poker is basically just like high frequency trading, you're making continued investments which will give you a certain return over a long period of time, just realise that long period of time can be very, very, very long. The variance is mind melting and the biggest challenge is keeping your emotions in check.

as for sports betting I'm an understudy of my friend who is a godly nfl handicapper. We did 250 units in 2015 and 130 last season. My advice is abuse live betting, i.e. taking a team that was listed as a favorite when they are down early or waiting to get a good + line on a favorite. Our live betting strike rate kills any pregame action. My advice is only bet games where every game is crucial (i.e. NFL or a playoff season) faggy games like NBA and baseball play 1000 games a season which means they can afford to fuck around a lot.

this is very good advice. Also some bookies will fuck up their lines and you can take a 3-1 at 10-1 which is typically a plus EV move though not guaranteed money.

Bet on esports with crypto. This will be huge in the future.

Im a successful handicapper for the last 14 years in
Ncaa football , MLB and NFL (very conservative on my NFL)
I use $500 per unit
I haven’t lost $ on the season since 2002.
>Why you shouldn’t begin setting sports

youll need to watch and learn about eqch teams player matchup, coaches, tendencies , playing style, statistical match up, if your not a fan it just wont work.

>how do I make $ on sports then?

Fade Public darling plays.
You can make money by fading the public darling of the week.
Its actually easy to spot this game.
>step1
Look over thw lines, do any stand out as a “cant miss” ?
>step 2
Walk up to the cooler at work.
>Hey Tom, whatcha think about (insert “cant miss” play) in Sunday.

If Tom is in full ecstatic agreement,
You have found the public darling .

Basically fade when your friends are all on the same side.

Vegas dont hand away free $.

Remember that when your walking to the ticket window

Have been losing so far this MLB season. Can you help give some winning picks?

I like both dogs.
UVA Bennett is a bad big game coach.
Be aware, Bruce Pearl is a awesome coach and will have his guys reqdy to scrap harder then UVA.

Love Tech,
The short spread says it all.
Every Tom , Dick , and Harry will be on Sparty. Vegas could’ve offered-5 or -6 and got all State action.
Now at -2.5. Tech and the defense finds a way to hang around foe the cover.

I doubt the win because Tech in the Championship would be bad for TV ratings.

Let the 1st couple weeks play out to have some stats to work with.

i use early
Draft kings player prices to gauge the expectations and good pitching.
Then as the season kicks in full gear
let the weather heat up and play overs in home run friendly parks.
