Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.

Oof. Thankfully my jobby pays more than that for less work. It is private security related. Formerly my full-time jobby but scaled back to part time because I wanted more time to trade. Wanna know what my degree is? I think it's funny. I was an art major. Used to be a graphic designer. Quit that job with a vengeance after a couple years. I'd rather mow peoples lawns than do graphic design again. Or be a garbage man. Or clean toilets. Fell ass backwards in to security. Now hang around empty buildings on weekend mostly making sure the building isn't actively flooding or on fire or something, at which point I am expected to run away like a coward and call the appropriate emergency services.

I'd bought between 10-15 various calls on NVDA for 185, 187.5 and 190 on Wednesday when I finally got a day off during a trading day to get into options and it paid off hugely on Thursday morning. On my way in to wage slave when markets opened my portfolio moved from $5500 (after going $4500-5500 the day prior when I first figured out how options worked) to $10000 in the first few minutes and was up to ~$18000 by the time I'd made it into work. Unfortunately I lost ~$5k in profit while getting cucked by work and finished up Thursday @ +$13k. Felt good seeing that +$12k in a day. Last time I made that much in a day was when LTC broke $100 in 2017. Can I quit my day job for this?

Then he goes on to say that LCI lost 70% of their ebitda and haven't filled that void.. thats such bullshit the filings even show that they are replacing it and that it wasn't even 70%

Marc chodes might go to jail over his short manipulation on LCI he manipulated the price down and now it's in the spot light because Guy is in it and blowing up Marcs spot. Marc is getting old and delusional.. he's losing his edge

LCI is going to $30

The shorts theorys have been going out the window left and right and share structure hasn't changed... First they were saying hhuurr duurr the debt, LCIs CFO confirms debt is not a problem.. then shorts come out HHUURR DUURR the JSP deal is ending... again LCI puts out press releases stating they are replacing that revenue and are already releasing new drugs and setting up new distribution deals. They also stated that they are restructuring and reducing expenses.. so then the shorts go back to .. b-but the debt then LCI comes out and says that it's paying it's LT debt off early!! Now Shorts are really moving the goal post, they want to try and point out the "technicals" of the stock.. then they want to bash people that are holding it..

They are doing everything they can to get people to sell.. the problem is that the people they need to sell are big institutions that aren't paying attention to their little games.

If you can't smell the desperation coming from Marc chodes you must not understand what's going on. LCI doesn't need a catalyst, it just needs all the bulls to hold (which at the moment they are) if all the bulls hold and it moves sideways shorts will slowly lose money to interest paid on shares and will eventually cover driving the price higher

T is still rolling ever upward. I'm up almost $10.00. My 18 T shares are still plugging away. Just waiting till the dip to bag some more which I hope is after the div payday. Some are speculating that He will hit $40 per share, fuck it if that happens I might just sell. Then take that profit and let it sit a bit right next to that other 2542 that's there. Then when the mega dip happens buy Him back at the rock bottom prices. 100 or more T shares shall be mine at $30 per share or lower before the year is over.

Hold my T shares from then on till least year 2032 and let Him work for me till that fateful day when I can turn off the Drip and pocket that fat paycheck. In the meantime while I wait I'll build up my other bank accounts with my extra cash from my job and let my 401k grow some more.

Cause when I retire from my job in 2032 I don't wanna worry about shit, just kick back on my rear deck and drink. Let the other fucks work themselves to death till they die of a heart attack at age 65. Not me, I'm gonna enjoy my life. MDXG is nothing like LCI... like at all..... LCI is a solid company that has been manipulated down by short sellers and now that they're at the bottom they realize nobody is selling them shares to cover their short position with so now they're trying their hardest to get shares.. they're desperate. Right when it dropped for like a month straight there was news out about the lawsuit against lannett every fucking day.. but yet.. nobody sold.. shorts are the ones that were helping pump that news out.. nobody was selling to them after their manipulating price down.. funny how at the time the volume that day was 18million.. the same amount that was short at that time... wow.. what do you know?!?! That lawsuit isn't going to go through because it's clearly stated in their filings about the JSP deal.. shorts were just trying to use it for a scare tactic after their manipulated gap down.

I would not be surprised to see another manipulated gap down. I also wouldn't be surprised to see some type of government intervention looking into the short sellers trading strategies

Do you feel comfortable owning Lockheed with the report about the new fighter jets being especially succeptible to cyberattacks?

BA has too much going on for me to buy, and could be due for a flogging once election season rolls around in the US, and Europe has Brexit figured out.

Thinking about Northrop or Raytheon. Your take on defense?

I'll give you a quick example.

Lets say theres a house in a neighborhood selling for $90,000 when the houses in that neighborhood usually go for $130,000. The house needs some work, about $10,000 worth of work but when the work is done you will be able to sell that house for $130,000. a nice 30% profit before taxes and fees.

Now lets say you have the $100,000 (purchase price + restoration) for this house, but wait.. it's in your IRA account. Ok.. no problem.. you go to take out the 100k.. but wait a second.. theres a 10% fee for taking money out early.. so now you only have 90k.. enough for the house but not to fix it up.. you just handed over 10k to someone because you wanted to take your money out early and put it to work somewhere else..

wow.. just fucking wow.....

I'm sure Ted who happened to grow a business and sold it for a million (unlike 90% of other Teds whose businesses failed and they lost their investment/time) probably doesn't have much of an IRA, but most people with a salary and who invest over decades will substantially benefit from investing their money through IRA/401ks than not.

Good evening frens,

I am here to shill NRG.v to you all again. Junior gold explorer with a property in Nevada that has remained basically untouched since the early 1900s. Their property has not only some high-grade gold mineralization, but a large portion of the property contains very consistent low-grade gold that, when combined with screening, yielded a concentration of 26 g/t.

They are expected to release some drill results next week, so it might be worth buying before then. That being said, they are pretty low on cash at the moment, so perhaps waiting until after the next round of financing is a good idea as well.

Do your own DD and all that, but I am a firm believer in this stock. I own some shares in this company and plan to continue adding to my position in the future. Just thought I'd put it on everyone's radar, as I really want everyone here to make it.

>Tumor resistance to pembrolizumab strongly correlated with high galectin-3 expression (p: 0.0001) (Supplementary Table S2). Conversely, the majority of patients with negative–low/intermediate expression of galectin-3 in tumor cells had an early and durable objective response to pembrolizumab.

Why put off your career for the 100k safety net?
If your parents are there for you to mooch off of on rent, why wouldn't they be there to fall back on in the event that you would need that kind of 100k safety net?

I've been in GALT since last summer. I'm certainly way more familiar with gold mining but the research you post here is always helpful and insightful.

>In this study, we demonstrated that Gal-3 significantly contributes to the establishment, growth and development of endometriotic lesions. This effect was associated to the modulation of angiogenic factors, such as VEGF and its receptor VEGFR-2, and the enrichment of M2 polarized macrophages in the endometriotic microenvironment. Moreover, Gal-3 inhibition with human recombinant Gal3C was able to reduce endometriotic lesions by downregulation of angiogenic and inflammatory factors. Taken together, the data reported here demonstrate that Gal-3 can be a pharmacological target in endometriosis treatment, inhibiting the lesions development by reducing angiogenesis and inflammation process.

thanks, I'm glad you find it insightful
I'm sure people here would find anything you have to say about gold mining companies insightful as well

>Furthermore, gal3 stimulated the TREM2-DAP12 signaling pathway. In conclusion, we provide evidence that gal3 is a central regulator of microglial immune response in AD. It drives proinflammatory activation and Aβ aggregation, as well as acting as an endogenous ligand to TREM2, a key receptor driving microglial response under disease conditions. Gal3 inhibition may, hence, be a potential pharmacological approach to counteract AD.

Because they are old and die
Also people are less charitable to their 30yr old kid than their 18yr old kid.

Anyways not many people can pull off a 6 figure/good degree, since they are idiots, but the “hoard money like a dragon and mooch while it’s still socially acceptable“ plan works for everyone

I want to invest in a service that sends pounds of raw chicken to my house.
You go to the store and one single package of ground turkey or chicken breast is like 5 dollars and its only about 50-75% of your DV of protein. I look like a fucking psycho at the checkout with 30 packages of chicken.

No. 401(k) to Traditional IRA broker to broker transfer or a check made out to the IRA brokerage avoids all taxable events.

If you wanna into IRA, that’s how you’re supposed to do it: 401(k) for wages & compensations, new job, 401(k) rollover to traditional IRA to take control of those retirement funds without being taxed, then ROTH IRA for tax free growth and tax free distributions with “qualifying events” allowing you to use your money penalty free.

That's true. Most people that go to college the right way land well on their feet by the time they're 25, rather than 30

I can definitely admire people that are honest with their capabilities and go for a trade over what they determine to be a worthless degree.
>“hoard money like a dragon and mooch while it’s still socially acceptable“ plan works for everyone
some people are just NEETs, and are hoarding a small pile of worthless crypto, which is not a safety net
wagies can be admired though
