Isobutanol
Anyone here looking into Gevo or Amyris, both companies look very promising with growth in comercial airline fuels and basically any existing fuel that uses ethanol

Biofuel costs more to produce than oil-based fuels. Until this changes these companies will continue to go further and further into debt until they reach bankruptcy. I havent read into Amyris but I know Gevo has cut back heavily on research and development. They have mastered their product and they are just waiting for oil prices to more or less triple. I wouldn't invest heavily in either. Biofuel technology is not new, its been around for 20 years. Biojetfuel, maybe 5 years. The problem is oil is still cheap and green energy is expensive.
