We had work training in Liverpool from 9:30 - 13:00 and then from 13:30 - 16:30. I was just doodling all the way through the first part. Then at the end of the first session before they let us go for lunch, the presenter handed out a feedback sheet. So I put one star where it said content and presentation, 3 stars for the others and 5 star for if it was appropriate to their values. All my coworkers put 5 stars for everything. On the back it was to write some feedback and if it was appropriate training for you. I put no and said it was a waste of time because my time is valuable and I don't like that I had to drive 2 hours to get to Liverpool just so I could sit for 6 and a half hours and listen to someone read off a powerpoint. There was an autistic girl there too but I thought it was the support worker's presentation because she did the majority of the speaking. During lunch I was escorted by this old woman to a small room and I knew from the get go I was in trouble by the forced small talk. She asks me why I gave negative feedback when she has only ever recieved positive and I said that I was just saying what everyone was thinking and she said I was being disingenious. Then she says it was the autistic woman's presentation and that was how she decided to present it. I said I didn't know.

She kept repeating that even though I said I didn't know (I wasn't told). I was critisising the company not this autistic woman, but she said she was going to show this to my manager. She kept saying I wasnt in trouble then she said I had poor body language because I had my hands in my pocket. She said she was teaching me next. I said that my complaint was that I travelled all the way to Liverpool for a powerpoint and that the company could improve it by adding more interaction. I questioned as to why this could not have been a youtube video or an email. Then she was flippant about my having to drive. But I was upset about driving all the way here for a powerpoint that could have been emailed me. Then she opened the door and asked if anyone can escort me back to the classroom. I went to the bathroom to escape and then walked in, got my waterbottle, stormed out and into my car. My coworkers followed in pursuit and one got infront of it but I edged the car forward and he got out the way, then I went to macdonalds and feasted to comfort myself. I had drunk 3 coffees today so my anxiety was hightened. I felt humiliated and panicked; figured I was sacked anyway. I still think I did nothing wrong. The only lesson I learned was that the only way to advance in the world is to lie and cheat. I knew from my sixth form and blackburn college experience what was happening and just fled the scene. Hung up on my senior manager and texted my boss that I quit. He texted back that he wants to talk to me on friday about what had occured today.
