According to creg satoj the best wallet is a old smartphone without sim card, or if for long term hodle, a good old paper wallet. I'm with him on that even though I have 2 ledgers and 2 trezors

I have two different wallets, and one back up for each. One wallet on trezor with back up and one wallet on ledger with backup. And I of course have two paper copies of the seed words for each wallet. I'm about to buy a cheap smart phone and use that isntead or in addition to the trezor and ledgers

Why not stick with 1 ledger and 1 trezor and just memorize the seed phrase and reset them each time?

I don't really see the point. It isn't any more secure. The x has bluetooth which there's no need for and can handle a lot more apps. Just wait a couple years until crypto is mainstream and buy a new ledger then.
