Don't let yourself be distracted by people saying BTC is not the original Bitcoin. The roadmap is quite clear. I am sure you heard talks about reducing the block size and implementing inflation. However, the next logical move is to peg it to USD. Due to the peg, optimal inflation is easily achived. Shortly after the peg, the next big update should definitely include a organisation which can decide on QE on Bitcoin. However, the peg still has to hold. I think Gregory, Samson and cowboy hat would make a great executive board for said organisation. However, it is a necessity that the block size will be reduced to 10 Bytes or else people will use Bitcoin instead of the USD for transactions. The crucial part is that the peg is removed every 584 Todds for exaclty 52 Tadds (New Bitcoin calendar days) to make sure that future LN nodes can simultaneously restart their Rasperry Pies to achive optimal performance.

This is the original Bitcoin Vision.

I'm sorry sir, but Bitcoin didn't have Segwit, Lightning, nor inflation.

Nor is it what people wanted as shown in whitepaper.

Its dev controlled ass litter.
