It's fair because it started when no knew this shit had any value. People threw thousands in landfills. Core devs sold their whole stack at market bottoms. That will never again happen. Even the shittiest shitcoin has whales with huge stacks CAREFULLY stored away.

Town Crier, Augur, and Oraclize were the original and most legitimate competitors to LINK. Now TC == LINK, and Oraclize rebranded to Provable and is going to sell their services over the Chainlink network. Now that Augur is shown to be gameable, it negates the narrative that "Augur is the holy grail of oracles". Nope.

You forgot Witnet.

Augur was extensively researched and peer reviewed, what makes you think Chainlink's reputation system won't also be manipulated?

No I didn't. Witnet wasn't around back then.

forgot to respond to this. There is no reason to expect that to happen, since it hasn't happened yet. So it's neutral and hopeful, where as Augur just lost some of it's prestige.

So it is still relevant now and can potentially overtake link

Why is Etheureum's biggest project (MakerDao) going to use Chainlink and not Witnet, even though Witnet is running right now? Stay losing fag.

Augur is pajeet tier.

It illustrates a fundamental flaw that any non-retarded person that ever gave more than 2 sec of thought to smart contracts could figure out.
