Take sick days off when you are well to enjoy them... don't waste a perfectly good day off when you're sick...

Haven't been sick in 3 years from work. What a good wagie I am.

>> No.13174356

No because I want to be a good goy and I want to be told what a good goy I am.

>> No.13175341

Of course. That money does not get paid out if I don't use it. Sick pay for my job works out to somewhere between 80 and 100 paid hours per year. I am not going to let that go to waste.

I've poked around a lot over the years trying to figure what is the range of acceptable taken sick day rate and where does the line fall on 'excessive'. The general consensus seems to be something along the lines of an average of less than or equal to one sick day taken per month. So I take anywhere between 10 and 12 sick days per year. Never been questioned about it and I've been at the same place over a decade now.

There's a good goy. Sorry, no raise this year or next. The budget, ya know.
