Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.

Pretty good 12 month run. Been pulling back into cash recently (currently at 20% and want more) because I’m biz’s favorite professional investor and my clients have literally been dumping their painstakingly designed diversified portfolios and buying index ETFs.

In my experience clients always buy what they WISH they WOULD HAVE bought and sell what they WISH they WOULD HAVE sold. So now we pull back and wait and see who is smarter....me or the normans

So consider this a “word to the wise”

I have a small position in DIS, T, TSLA, SBUX. I'm certain DIS and T are gonna do well because they both have media coming out. TSLA was really down for a while, but they have a new car coming out and it seems like a good time to get in. SBUX has pretty much not stopped growing overall for a while and seems like they will continue to make some good decisions, not to mention they are one of the leading Sip providers.

And another aspect of this, this randomness is not just in the process of finding a good company, but in the process that creates a successful company as well. The only way to have any modicum of stability is with an economy of scale and being too big for people to just shrug off your absence. Before that point, the sheer number of variables which could cause things to go wrong is staggering. If there is something about a company that makes them so promising that investing in them is worth it despite all that, then they'd almost certainly be worth more than 2 dollars.

I'm still playing JAGX (.23-.3) which is swinging back and forth on FDA rumors. Upward of 0.9-1 pump if good news breaks.

LPTX is the safest thing you can put your money in the 1-3 month period though. Baring some unforeseen outside force, another catalyst (or simply the run-up to it) will bring it back to the 3s at some point. There will definitely be one in May iirc.

I have INNT .03 dollar calls at 2.5 (recently pumped to 4 and is now oversold, pumped 11% yesterday and the calls hit .18) and ESPR (oversold on statistical anomaly in data, insider buys, double bottom with a short interest of 60%) $40 calls.

As much as fans hate on nuStarWars and nuMarvel, look at how much money this shit is generating (maybe don’t look at Solo).

And then look at how Disney is the only company that isn’t getting MeTooed out the ass, that they are poised to win hard in the streaming battle with ESPN, Pixar, Fox assets, etc. They even have a hand in Hulu.

Like someone else said, Apple manages to take stupid looking things and make them essentials, like iPods, smartphones, wearable tech, earbuds, and tablets. People are doubting TV because they blew it before, but this isn’t going to be like the old Apple TV or google glass.

What's interesting about the data is that the divergence in male and female sexual activity was incredibly recent. 2012 at the earliest. Most incels blame the sexual revolution and the associated cultural trends as leading to hypergamy and all the problems in the world. But obviously that can't be the case. Rather, what came first was the trend towards less sex overall, and then the trend for men just grew more after a while. Men, psychologically, also experience loneliness more in terms of their sexual and romantic relationships, while women more experience it in terms of friends and family.

It definitely will lead to the rise of male incels, so that means less promiscuous behaviour in the majority of males?
It means that less women are willing to have sex with a larger portion of men. It'd be odd if this doesn't mean less promiscuous behaviour.

The only way that this would not correlate with less promiscuous behaviour is if it means that women are raising their standards to a height that does not lead to relationships that will pan out for them, and are willing to sleep around with people that they know won't commit to them.

I'm not sure if the chart or the article that had that data would support that conclusion -- only that the majority of people are having less sex and that young men are disproportionately contributing to this trend.
I don't think the article or chart has any data support that would support ordering of two trends like you had indicated: that the overall trend came first and that the male trend came after a while.

I imagine the feeling that somebody is always willing to bang you is pretty similar to how a rich dude will always have gold diggers that are after their wallet.

Just get money. Then you will have gold diggers chasing you down for sex. If not, there's always legal prostitutes in Nevada.
That's why some level of money truely does buy happiness. You can pay for sex, and that's the source of loneliness in the male mentality.

Rat race for jobs, good schools, work day encroaching into free time, lack of stable careers (people constantly moving around for work have a more difficult time maintaining friends, relationships), more people living with parents, social media mostly designed around either existing relationships or conversations between strangers, very difficult to cultivate deep friendships, commodity relations taking over all other relations.

Does flaunting your wealth necessarily work? Perhaps sometimes, but not on every girl.

Also, why would you flaunt your wealth?
- what kind of girl would it attract?
- is this the kind of girl you want?
- if it is and for the kind of relationship that you want out of them, aren't there more effective ways of attracting them?

See it all the time. The guy driving around the car he can't afford, putting fancy meals and drinks on his Amex Gold Card that he can't afford, wearing clothes he can't afford, etc. meanwhile he has a mound of debt and no long-term stability.

>Also, why would you flaunt your wealth?
I'm not necessarily saying you need to flaunt your wealth. You can have nice things without being overly flashy. I'm just talking about the implication. You can dress nicely, afford to pay for dates, have a nice apt/live alone instead of a crowded shitbox with roommates, have a nice car instead of a beater (but nothing too stupidly flashy), etc. not because it shows you like to spend money but because it implies some sort of stability.

It shows that you will be able to provide for them over the long term after Chad's debt catches up to him. It sets you apart (to some degree) from the chads who didn't actually making it and have nothing to show for their lives at 25 after all their poor decisions caught up to them.

Thanks. I think you're right, and I've always been impressed by how observant/perceptive that you are.

At one point in time, humans were cave man and lived in caves or whatever. They formed tribes and stuck together in, like, hunting groups.
They probably formed very close bonds that probably lasted a lifetime. In fact, these tribes possibly transcended generations and were like wolf packs.
Then, at some point in time, we had Babylon, Sumeria, and the Roman empire.
It was more capitalist. Yet, Christianity came about in some context involving the Roman empire, right?
And the Christians condemned promiscuous behaviour.
Given this, did humans become more degenerate going from tribes to where they stood under the Roman empire?
Are we more degenerate today than under the Roman empire?

Hey guys. So I know you don't like basic questions. But i rcently entered the market and feel really bad for myself. I started with investing 700$. But they were bad stocks. Managed to hang onto $366. I would like to be able to recoup the several hundred I lost and get out of this game. Would you recommend just cutting out now, or investing in some kind of "safe stock" to make back the hundreds I lost? I really dont just want to watch those hundreds go down the drain. Has anyone else been in this kind of situation?

The early empires were characterized by humans confronting slavery and money for the first time in history. Some theorists say this is when patriarchy first emerged, in the backlash against prostitution, the idea that "our women" could be bought. There existed periods of relative sexual "liberalism" and "conservatism". Augustus was big on mores and against promiscuity for example. Divorce was relatively liberal in the roman empire though.

But this question of degeneracy is only meaningful really from our modern perspective. The sexual mores of small tribes is almost always idiosyncratic. Some customs permit many wives, a handful permitted many husbands, most had child marriage, and in some there was an elaborate system of social ownership where a handful of powerful men "owned" all other members of the community in a formal sense and marriage was organized around their trading of these members. Perhaps the one constant was the organization around customs, whether you can argue these were more or less "Degenerate". What the advent of the market did was blow out these customs, and allow relations of pure, arbitrary exploitation. The rule of money is a law all its own, and it knows no humanity.

people have always been degenerates

also "degenerate" is a relative term, everyone has different standards to what it means

for example, there are multiple first hand sources that quote the first christian empress of the roman empire Theodora (wife of the first christian emperor, Constantine) expressing sadness that her nipples holes wernt big enough to fuck, because she could only fit x amount of dicks inside of her mouth/ass/pussy at a time (she had regular orgies involving dozens, sometimes literally hundreds, of slaveboys gangbanging her, because emperors wife can afford the best...)

morals are a reflection of the timeperiod you are in, morals are not unchanging and constant throughout history, they never have been

punishments have historically been much more cruel and shocking compared to modern time ones too

So you're maintaining that modern society and society under the Roman empire could be thought of as equally degerate, and that money is the reason why because it either manipulated or allowed people to kind of transcend social norms and customs

Given that money and the free market are the source of society's problems, and that even in the USSR, free trade could still arise via the black market, is there any way to go about trying to close the Pandora's box that money and capitalism has brought us?

well I think maybe the romans were a little more degenerate in terms of sex because they didn't have anything better to do in their free time lol.

But regardless, no I don't think we can completely eliminate the market and money at least with society at it's current level of development. The USSR often did have better personal/social/sexual relationships, however, and the reason was because of good community programs, education, and guaranteed employment. I think decommodifying certain industries is possible, that we can have food, housing, water, electricity, some kind of job available for everyone, as well as allow people to have more free time with a shorter work day. These things would make a big difference.

well she was an "actress" (actor=prostitute in roman times) before she got married, so she probably had seen some sick shit, even before Constantine became emperor (they were married before he got power)

people have always been kinky as shit, theres a couple shitty roman emperors (commodus, caligula, nero?) who had furry orgies (tons of people dress up in animal furs/costumes and fuck eachother all night...)

and of course bestiality used to be way more common (but still looked down upon by the majority)

Zeus fucked so many women as various animals (as a swan, as a bull, as an eagle multiple times, even as a housefly fucking some human girl once...) and as not an animal (he fucked one girl while he had transformed himself into a "golden shower"). he even created a cloud that some mortal man ended up fucking and impregnating (the baby from the man and a cloud shaped like a girl ended up screwing horses when he grew up, creating centaurs)

ancients were fucked up alll around the world, Zeus is just one great example (he fucked 80+ different children/animals all on his own if you read all the stories about him, not even mentioning the many adult women)

>I think decommodifying certain industries is possible, that we can have food, housing, water, electricity, some kind of job available for everyone, as well as allow people to have more free time with a shorter work day. These things would make a big difference.
Any policy that's abusable will be abused to the point of breaking. The USSR failed because it had too many rules that were too fragile.
If you look up George Soros on Wikipedia, you'll see that he apparently played a role in the downfall of the Soviet Union.

>I think there'd be a lot less women looking for sugar daddies and more women dating their peers (relatively speaking) if things like tuition at public university's were free and we had these kind of public programs I mentioned.
>a lot less women looking for sugar daddies and more women dating their peers
Well, that's the way that I wish things were and I kind of agree.
However, it's been said in health class that women physically mature a little earlier, and so although the whole sugar daddy thing would disappear, I still imagine there'd be some kind of social status thing and that girls would still date guys that were at least a little older.
>That said, I would be lying if I hadn't thought about relations like that before, of using capitalism and money like that to my advantage. Probably the greatest temptation it can offer.

> The USSR failed because it had too many rules that were too fragile.
Well you break that statement down and it comes down to the collapse of discipline imposed by the communist party which was the basis for it's entire economic and political system. The good new for us is there we're beginning at a point where social control is much more sophisticated.
