All asset got inflated due to QE. Its not that their "value" went up by that much as much as the buying power of USD went down. Its not measured in the official inflation statistic either. It is also why there won't be a crash in the stock market/housing/etc... anytime soon.

Dude I feel you. I made the same mistake in 2010. The recovery was looking shaky and everyone though Greece and the rest of the PIGS were gonna start dominos of total collapse. I was reading tons of financial news and was sure a crash was coming, and was mostly in cash.

Then shit just... worked out. QE kept the party going, Europe stabilized things, and a huge bull kept rolling. I’d have like 20% bigger stack if I had been invested.

After that I realized the truth: I’m an idiot who knows nothing. DCAing is the one true path. Just invest steadily, if a crash comes who cares because you’re not selling - just means everything’s on sale. Start paying attention to your dividends and learn to love watching them grow steadily. Also then you don’t spend your whole life watching charts and stressing.
