He was the leading cloud architect of a multinational software and engineering solutions company a year ago. He quitted his job to work full time in linkpool. If you investigated soon enough you would have found his facebook and linkedin profile before he set it to private... He's legit one of the brightest minds in UK

Seriously though, why are we not seeing more Chainlink pools coming up this close to main net? Is it...
A) Setting up a pool is really hard and no one else in the community had the confidence to do so
B) We are still really far away from main net, like not happening in 2019 and other pools will show up when we finally are close to main net
C) Smart contracts and oracles are a meme and most of the people that hold Chainlink plan to dump it all on main net announcement / launch. Just a couple of idealists really believe in the tech

Has to be one of the above, right? Maybe all of those?

LP is the test. If it works and is profitable, there absolutely will be more within 6 months of mainnet launch. Which is great because decentralization.

It’s actually a mix of all of those

We ARE far from mainnet (just look a the github) and it’s hard to start setuping a node since the documentation is scarce and already somewhat obsolete. In order to do so you have to be in constant communication with the team. I tried to do it but they just weren’t very helpful. I feel they are actually trying to have a “centralised” network with linkpool upon release of the mainnet. That way they can ensure the legitimacy of the initial contracts and also reap a majority of the befenits. Yes, what Îm saying is that the Chainlink team and Linkpool team are obviously in bed together. It will be very hard for privae node owners to compete with them. Just my 2 cents.

Jonny is a strong addition to the team, he's a great and hard-working dev, at the same time he's in a position of being his own CEO and running his own project (quit a good job because he understood the potential of smart contracts and decentralized oracles), and he even looks fairly handsome so it's nice to have him as a dev-oriented public face associated to the project alongside Sirgay, unlike Thomas who is a shy autist. And unlike Sirgay, he's connected to the community and knows everything biz knows. He's in a very interesting position.
