It's become pretty hard to attract talent in California. You're ether in the Bay Area and $3000 bachelor apartments means you have to pay your employees 6000 a month, or you're in LA and everybody has to drive 3 hours a day. State income taxes fuck people pretty hard too.

Because California is half American, (which doesn't need a 2 hr lunch with a nap to get shit done) and we just work a hell of a lot faster and longer hours than you do.

Second is that the other half of California is Mexican or central/south American, who even with a nap they take short lunches and work three times as hard as the average American member of the work force.
