at what point does power become worth more than money? $100 million? $1 billion? $10 billion?

For example if you get caught with a large amount of weed, being worth $50 million alone should be enough to get you off the hook and make it go away. What about if you killed someone? how much then. probably >$10 billion right? What about trying to initiate a war between two nation states?

The point of the wealth is that somewhere along the line you made high enough connections so that petty (or heavy) shit will get swiped off the table. Be it a personal favor, or something in exchange.
