Is boxing a good choice? The confidence that comes with knowing you are able to cave someone's skull in surely transfers to business well.

I did boxing in high school but I wouldn’t say it helps with business. I would say it helps with discipline and comfort knowing you know how to fight which is probably more than some random dude on the street or your faggoty boss. If you go to an actual boxing gym with a trainer the intense workouts will make sure you stay fit and healthy

Why would knowing how to beat someone up help you in business? They have nothing to do with each other.

I thought that fighting would help me with my autism too but I was wrong. I have dedicated myself for years to martial arts and am working towards becoming professional.

I still have trouble talking to people or making eye contact. I still feel the same uncomfortably, I take no comfort in knowing I could hurt the other person if we started to fight. I still get verbally bullied by chads who dont know me. I have knocked people out in the cage while the crowds cheered. I'm still beta af

Just lift weights

MMA

Boxing, BJJ, and Kickboxing mainly. And mix in various other parts that are most effective from other martial arts, like the 80/20 rule. Some karate style kicks, a few judo throws that are effective without clothing, some wrestling and muay thai.

It's really up to you personally what your interested in, they are all mostly effective in their own ways. In america a lot of people do wrestling in highschool so they learn a grappling style and add in some striking.

Why do you think it won't help? the point is that "insecurity" is ridden in deep fear of getting violenc'ed. By learning to do harm to others effectively, you mitigate a lot of that.

>> No.13029095

If you train boxing properly (meaning sparring), you are going to fuck your brain up.
If you care about your business acumen, stick to martial arts where you can avoid getting hit in the head. For the most part, that means grappling.
You could also just go halfway and avoid full sparring with striking sports.

>How about training oneself for entrepreneurship?
To train for entrepreneurship, you learn business skills rather than wasting time on sports.
Just some lifting/cardio to keep yourself healthy and that's about it.

I hired a guy for an entry level analyst job that was into boxing. He interviewed well and seemed sharp but he ended up doing really poor work and would awkwardly bring up topics that are not appropriate for a professional workplace in casual conversation. We eventually got rid of him after a year. I can't help but think he may have been hit in the head a few too many times.
