Are all kind of new office jobs where you don't produce something a way for THEM to keep us occupied? Who need a "logistical chain supply accountant manager" ?

hello leftist shill, this book is retarded. You're very welcome to start your own business if you'd like. Having a job is a means to financial security, aka food.

Logistical supplychain account managers make sure everything ends up at the right place at the right time. Can't be an hour early or an hour late. Ice melts, food rots, etc.

There are plenty of office jobs that are bullshit, mostly government and old school unionized bureaucracy. Graeber breaks it down to 5 types. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kehnIQ41y2o

logistical account manager ain't one of them.

I have a bs job. I go in to work and literally zone out most days 6/7 hours I am there. In a given week I do maybe 2-3 hours of actual work-work, and 5-6 of meetings. I'm a programmer and w/e task is assigned to me can take any amount of time I want to say it will take to complete. If I don't feel like working I just say I'm debugging something. Its easy to massively sandbag every task given to me with vague techno babble. When I actually want to complete a task, either due to boredom or because its actually something important to the company that will effect my stock options, the solution is literally googling and copying and pasting code from a popular programming Q&A site.

Kek there are so many bullshit jobs within the company I work for.

For myself there was a period where I made < 100 different reports conform given specifications. Use to work overtime to reach the deadline. Only to find out that no one uses those reports 6 months later. They have only been opened 13 times kek, and mostly by application managers to check if they still work.
