Honestly not here to shill my bag. Im just fucking tired of the stress of trying to jump o to pumps and just want comfy holds I can forget about cause they are almost guaranteed to do well when the market does eventually recover.

So far BTC, Quant, litecoin and Iota.

Give me comfy holds.

comfy holds. This is a friend advice. And it's my opinion, not the truth.
XRP, XLM, BTC, ETH. And maybe RLC.

This way you don't have to watch charts daily and you can only wait until you heard one of these at the news in TV

Since I'm in crypto I mainly holded the assets I had, and I always been comfy.
Two months ago I started "trading" tryng to make more money and accumulate more, tryng to catch the pumps of shitcoins. I only lost 200$ and caused my so much stress and anxiety.
I'm out. I'm here only to comfy hold. Trading is for high IQ people

DASH : the better bitcoin based chain with DAO. Self funding so no blockstream can fuck it up.
KMD : the better ethereum with assetchains, no cryptokitties can tank the entire network
NANO : the risky dag tech investment. completely distributed. probably the best store of value. deff the fastest and most retard proof wallets and ease of use.
RLC : risky ERC20 cloud computing gains.

>> No.13017347

Problem with many of these is they are already in the top 20. They seem comfy but a lot can change in a year or two and once big alts become overpriced shitcoins everyone forgets.

I think comfy is more around the 20-50m market cap but are projects that are gonna do great in the next wave. Stuff like BAT and ADA, man I dunno, they could be long gone in two years time. Even ETH could be quite a sick duck.

BTC and EOS are my two comfy holds. BTC because it's the one true coin that will continue to be the MC leader for the next decade at least, and EOS because it's the only dapp platform that has serious development going on (and also because anything that reddit and /biz/ hate that much has to be threatening a lot of people's investments).

QNT is probably the comfiest choice there. Big things in the pipeline this year so a pretty reliable gainer I'd say.

Not so sure about BTC, Litecoin and IOTA though. Likely gainers but already mega caps, so unlikely to be huge pumps. Unless you have a high-value portfolio you're better off holding more solid low/mid cap gems.

agree. I think I might add HOLO, its not crazy high in price and if they can keep the trans developers in the background it might be a player.

everyone replying in this thread is an absolute brainlet.

5 years from now, what can you be confident will still be around?

the only answer is BTC, for a multitude of factors, mainly that no other protocol will be able to topple it as contender for gold(SoV) and hard money, due to simple network effects, lindy effect, anti-fragility, emphasis of security etc.

EVERYTHING ELSE could very well die and not be replaced (end up as layer 2/3 BTC solutions) or be replaced by new tech coming out.

Go 80% BTC, 20% ETH/LINK I would say.

How fucking dumb can you be?

What if the guy only has 1BTC? Even in the biggest of bull runs where BTC might hit $250k, he could buy a mid-tier house in some mid-tier town and then go back to being a poorfag.

A portfolio of mostly BTC is fine if you have 100 BTC otherwise it's a huge waste of the opportunities available.

All I do agree with is that projects like LINK and QNT are safe bets purely because their success doesn't hinge on the success of one particular blockchain where 99% of them will never get used. Both of those projects can continue to thrive no matter what blockchains are created or die off.

If he has 1 BTC it can go 20-30x next bullrun,
that's a good investment, and the safest in the space

likes of QNT are likely to shit the bed within a few years, so are not 'safe' investments, in crypto terms, if you're choosing to buy and hold rather than actively trade. It has nothing unique to it which can't be easily copied. LINK is years ahead of competition, and with the TC acquisition has the TEE market cornered. QNT is just a whitepaper which is hyped by biz dorks.

Crypto is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to get wealthy with relatively little outlay, and you think it's wise to suggest that $4000 should only be risked on an opportunity to make $120,000 when it's pretty difficult NOT to make more?

The absolute state of biz.

Also FYI Quant is way ahead of Link. Overledger is working and it's possible to build mApps on it right now, as numerous developers are currently doing.

Buy 2 btc.
Sell 2 btc at 100k each.
In that time quality alts have done a 500x in btc value.
Realise you completely missed a chance to be comfy for life
Kys from the embarrassment when your friends buy endlesa suppl of coke, hookers and lambos because they put their 2btc into link.
Its ok, that 200k worth of bitcoin will get you a nice funeral and a vacation for your family once you are gone.
Well done anon, great advice.

because all alt traders win right?
It's gambling for degenerates, there's always a loser on every trade, and give you trade long enough, you lose. Are you in the top 5-10% who always win? Doubtful.

I had to delete mine. I'm up a good bit the last 2 months but when I get burned on a dump, looking it at makes me stress about the loss and go dump the coin. I'm not talking complete shitcoins, because I don't add that to my portfolio if I know i'm getting in and out. Could of recovered a few losses, and even be in slight profit, if I didn't just sell out of stress. In the long run, unless it's absolute undeniable horrible FUD, it's been better. I still sell when something is overpumped when I can though. I bought and sold quant like 5 times already starting from 1.80$ and always profited. Not sure if I want to rebuy a small suicide insurance stack. Probably will if it dips a little more
