Basically the maker guy says he created an oracle in 2 weeks and has more customers than Oraclize and link combined even though doing oracles wasn't even their purpose and the Oraclize guy said no one wants to pay more than 5 cents for oracles, also everybody agreed that trustlessness wasn't achievable because data sources are centralized points of failures so basically decentralized oracles are just a worthless scam, lmao

As a dev, creating a centralized oracle takes 5min. And that's all LINK has done so far with their test net.

They haven't create decentralized oracles because they don't know how. Nobody does. It's an extremely complex problem, and the incompetent LINK team has no fucking clue how to solve it.

Also, as soon as someone publishes a paper on how to solve it (no, the chainlink white paper does not have this solution), actual good teams of devs will start working on it.

Chainlink is just a scam, nothing more nothing less. They promised something they knew they didn't know how to do, and now they're just coding random shit slowly hoping no one realizes the scam and they don't go to jail.

This isn't some conspiracy, this is literally what every ICO did/are doing. They promised some shit that was impossible, like social media on the blockchain, raised money, and now they're just waiting to either run out of funds, or for someone to actually create a solution they can use, like the promised ETH scaling solutions (which years away, don't listen to the media, I'm a dev, I use that shit daily and it's 100% years away.)

Oracle problem sounds like you'd want encrypted storage that is offchain with a hash onchain so it's tamper proof and a smart contract that can accept signed messages from certain keys to unlock the data.
