Real-world smart contract applications. Beyond the management of distributed ledgers and digital assets, blockchain platforms are being designed to support distributed applications based on the concept of smart contracts, that is, programs that are automatically executed when a set of pre-specified conditions are met. Once agreed upon and stored in a blockchain, smart contracts are irreversible, and are intended to digitally guarantee the enforcement of a contract between two or more parties, thus reducing the need for intermediaries.
>But, as Mr. Orcutt points out in a second recent article, “before smart contracts can do anything really useful, they need a reliable way to connect with events in the real world.” For example, a flight insurance policy that automatically pays out if a flight gets canceled is an example of a simple smart contract application. However, such an automated flight insurance application requires a trustworthy source of flight data, otherwise hackers could feed it fraudulent data and claim payouts. This problem is now being addressed by companies like Chainlink, a startup that’s developed a tamper-proof system that securely feeds the necessary data to smart contracts on a blockchain.

It looked like d-day my eyes hurt. maybe we just need that piece of news that even those dumbfucks can understand but then again i feel like sergeys habits of not hyping shit up plays a factor...who the fuck knows bro...idk...i feel like this is even deeper than we think theres people running this shit how is there not come on now we are all dudes we know how dirty this world is everyth has something behind it i swear the aliens know about link

Close your eyes, try to clear any thoughts you are having
Take long, slow, deep breathes and put all your focus and attention onto your breathing
iiiiiiiinnnn.................... ooooooooooooouuuut

good. Do this for a few minutes, then -
VISUALIZE yourself becoming rich through your LINK investment
ANTICIPATE the things you will buy with your new found abundance of wealth
IMAGINE as though it is all happening now in the present moment, for the present moment is all that truly exists
MOST IMPORTANTLY
FEEL the way you will FEEL when that moment comes and you make it!
FEELING THE EMOTION IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN JUST VISUALIZING THE IMAGES!

Now open your eyes, look in a mirror, and recite these affirmations (use/add your own that is relevant to the reality you want to create once you make it)
I AM RICH
I AM WEALTHY
I AM A MILLIONAIRE
LINK HAS GIVEN ME INFINITE ABUNDANCE
It's important to do this when you wake up and before you go to bed, but do it as often as possible. Also hold the image and idea of us making it and LINK being worth $1,000 or more in your mind as you fall to sleep.

WHEN WE DO THIS COLLECTIVELY MY LINK BROTHERS, THE UNIVERSE WILL SEE TO IT THAT CERTAIN EVENTS, PEOPLE AND CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ALIGN AND BE ATTRACTED TO US - THAT WILL ALLOW OUR DESIRE TO MANIFEST INTO REALITY!
I love you all

IBMFag here.
LINK is not working with IBM.

They may have spoken in the past, and IBM certainly looked into their oracle offering, but at this time, Hyperledger is not using, (and as far as I am able to glean internally) and does no intend to use, a third party oracle provider.
Their current design methodology is to trust the data providers based on legal/financial consequences, rather than reputation/financial.

....their blockchain is essentially a fucking distributed database but slower. They call it a blockchain to get the users to agree on common formatting and input. The vast majority of usecases for their blockchain customers will die off in ~5 years.
The ones that were actually using it for blockchain usecases, and not DB have either already moved to Corda (or Ethereum) or will in the future.

>This problem is now being addressed by companies like Chainlink, a startup that’s developed a tamper-proof system that securely feeds the necessary data to smart contracts on a blockchain.

>Legal applications are another potentially important area for smart contracts. A number of companies, such as Open Law, are looking to reduce the costs and frictions of creating and enforcing binding legal agreements by embodying all or parts of the agreement in a smart contract.

>> No.12957481

"But, as Mr. This problem is now being addressed by companies like Chainlink, a startup that’s developed a tamper-proof system that securely feeds the necessary data to smart contracts on a blockchain."

Same in Belgium.
If you invest as a "good housefather" (i.e. long-term), the tax rate is 0%.
The consensus in economic papers seems to be at least a year of absolutely no touching your shit.

If you do some speculating it's something like 25%.
And if it's your source of income, it's 35%.

Something along those lines.

It sucks.
My coworkers are annoying as hell, and childish.
One is a preop man-to-woman and demands they/them/she/her.
The others are just fucking lame and dumb.
The other places I have worked, I could have berated them publicly for saying stupid shit on calls and/or sending me stupid emails.

Here I have to do a dance and phrase things so perfectly.
It's good practice for me and I need to learn the skill (and the patience it requires).
