12895583 No.12895583 [Reply] [Original]

No amount of good news will pump the market. ETH forks, nothing happens. Fidelity adds indices, nothing happens. Huge institutional tools about to go online, nothing happens. Is crypto really dead?

yup, we are at or very close to the bottom of crypto

loool the only people pushing for another bullrun are people selling, ready to dump on idiots

that 17' bullrun where coins were getting 1000% pumps is over and done and only clowns still believe it will still happen

doesnt mean bull/bear runs wont happen anymore, they will but the insanity of 17 will NEVER EVER HAPPEN AGAIN

similar to the dot.com bubble, things were going insane at that time, 1000% pumps like its nothing, that will NEVER EVER HAPPEN AGAIN

congrats to the people that made bank in the 17' run, these type of runs happen when emerging markets emerge, this might take another 15 years to see such a market again

it will and BTC will be even worth more
if not BTC then its another blockchain coin
BTC is a much easier transfer of value than gold
BTC or another coin will eventually replace gold, think about it, its much easier to value wealth, transfer it in BTC than regular gold/fiat
also the 21 million BTC cap is very appealing, makes it easier to split/count the wealth

If BTC goes on another run (probably will but who knows) we will see people flocking to altcoins trying to find the "next bitcoin" just the same as every other time. is your position that BTC won't go parabolic again?

>> No.12896088

>>12896049
things are different anon now
we've reached the masses
there are less fools than before
most people heard of BTC already
when Katy Perry and nogs are making songs about it, sorry anon but you missed the boat
in order to pump like 17, you need to deliver real results, coins have to have a real purpose and they have to solve real problems
BTC solves a lot of problems and has consensus
the fact that a lot of people believe something have value (consensus) that in itself have high value

>>12896026
no one knows and if anyone claims they know just stop listening

That's reasonable. For what it's worth, I only own BTC. I thought the same thing you're saying now back in 2013 so after witnessing 2017 I am just cautious to underestimate the number of fools that exist in the world.

It's a lot more rational than what happened in 2017. Back then any chink with his own shitcoin could pump his bags by tweeting a selfie at his local bank. That's cool if you're a pajeet but that's not a healthy market. The point of this bear market is to flush out all those retards, and restore some rationality so the price can find a bottom. We still have a long way to go.

Without our fractional reserve and wash trade volume, crypto would look like a little girl's backyard tea party. The whole thing is so fake and gay and transparent that it's difficult to shill a narrative to anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together.

There is little to no actual money onboarding and, unless Tether is backed, crypto is a currently a zombie that will begin cannibalizing itself to keep the lights on and the miners fed.

It all does nothing right now. The best value proposition we've found is virtualized scarcity that is reasonably easy to transfer and store. We used it for crowd funding a shitstorm of vaporware in the hope that we could scalp the promise of the utility of that vaporware to a greater fool. That is all that has been done with this technology and we are reaping what we have to show for it.

You will have to wait for something promising to come along before new money disturbs the system. Without that, all we got is a slough of incoming GOX victims who are going to cash out and run off with the dregs.

I finally set up recurring buys of BTC and ETH. Gonna accumulate for the test of the year. Altcoin bags are almost full so it's time for the bluechips.
