Is it a good idea to invest in myself?

I get paid £1100 a month and I am creating a budget. Things I need to pay for:

>Fuel
>Emergency fund
>Gym
>Personal trainer
>Personal allowance

Is it worth paying into a personal pension ontop of the employer one? Is it worth investing into a vanguard at this age? I am 19 years old.

Why would you pay for a personal trainer? Take all of you personal training and personal allowance and buy bitcoin with it every month.

I would like to get a new phone on contract.

That's it. Fuel is £100 a month.

Believe it or not, a good PT is worth it. I have a PT I see once a week, and train by myself for the other 2 days. No matter how hard I try, I just cant get the quality work out that my PT gives me,and its worth every penny IMO.

YES invest into Vanguards.
NO you don't need a personal trainer.

Do you live with your parents? Then no emergency fund is needed. Get as much into Vanguards as possible and by 30 you'll have 150-200k easily, even on this income

I do a quick 30 minute intense circuit training session with him. It's $30 per session. I take the biggest set for $900. Works out great on my budget.

>Personal trainer
You dont need one.
>Personal allowance
5-10% of your income
>Emergency fund
10-15% of your income
>Fuel and gym
gym is monthly, dont exceed fuel more than you need unless you are traveling somewhere for hiking/sightseeing/etc

Should leave you with lots left that you can save and invest somewhere/start business.

No.

You just lack self-discipline. Do you also pay them to tell you what not to eat, because you can’t keep yourself away from the donuts? What about paying them to make you get out of bed on time?

And how would you suggest he improve his self discipline? There are people who cant stick to plans and need help. At least he chose to pay someone to firmen his resolve with encouragement. How'd you do it?
