Anyone here remember the March of Normies?

I can't say it will happen again by any means this year, since it seemed like a somewhat randomly timed event
but if you were here before and after March 2017 you will remember the board changed so quickly during that month with the huge random inflow of newfags
This board went from a fairly slow board to literally not being able to get a word in edgewise, unless you used the most obnoxious clickbait and shilling tactics and posted /biz/ thots all the time at the height of the bubble, and all in under one year.

What would be the point in using this board if it is that clogged?

People still post on /pol/ in spite of the incredibly fast paced posts.

Yes

It was a bunch of affiliate marketing general threads and random "how do i make money online" threads.

There were also a bunch of weird coins like Milo Coin and MOON coin people were punting. POSW ring a bell? Niggr coin too.

I recall being unable to post any reasonable threads after the big dip in maybe summer 2017
That's when the big climb started to eventual ATH and any threads that weren't linkie-tier shill threads about NEO or utterly worthless shitcoins didn't even get any replies
That's how people got burned I realize now, they didn't even know a crypto world in which we weren't going to the moon RIGHT NOW

I never really got to experience gains like that and for a while i was bitter about it, but if it had not turned out that way then i would have never learned about LINK

Anon, normies are what caused the spike of 2017 in the first place. You want them in here to do it again

this. crypto needs new money to go up, not the paltry amount that sissy faggots have on the sidelines, new blood
