My current job as well as the pay along with it is very good, considering I left uni just one year ago.

But still, I want to go back home after spending about six years away from old friends and family, only visiting one or twice a year. However, I fear that the employers in my hometown would consider me still a fresh graduate, when I move back too soon - so how long should I hold out here, until I should move back to be considered at least not a fresh graduate anymore?

I was told by many boomers that someone in his 20's should change job every 3 years to increase salary.

2 years is even better. Nobody gets promoted these days, you just get jobs with higher titles.

Would be happy to keep this level, desu.
Even holding it would be more than enough to buy my wife, my parents and me a comfy house in the suburbs and maybe a flat or two to rent out cheap for destitute students in my hometown (its kinda dream for me to help people, who had it as hard as we had during uni).

So two or thre years?
Sounds manageable.
