this. silver is a byproduct of gold/copper mining and the price is based entirely on refinement costs since there's endless amounts of unrefined silver that's not profitable to refine (if it goes up, more will be refined, causing it to go down). the spike was manip from brothers who cornered the market.

0% chance of ever profiting with silver unless the world ends and even then you're better off with gold.

Yes silver is mined as a byproduct of other ores.... This is because silver is so rare that no "silver only" mines exist.

New silver discovery is at an all time low and pretty much all silver "rich" land has been claimed and is pumping out at capacity.

Silver comes out of the ground at 10 oz to 1 oz of gold and this ratio is only getting narrower by the year.

Silver will 10x in 2019.
