Eth 2.0 is still 1.5-2 years away and its transition to POS will be painful. EOS works smoothly today and will have its sharding equivalent this year. In a perfect world a pure POS would be king, but we are imperfect and dPOS is the way to go. I still hold both tho, there are use cases for twi ecosystems.
