New trader here. I'm having a hard time deciding what to invest in. I have $1k to start out.

A lot of people on this board seem to be interested in LINK, but I'm confused because it doesn't seem like the LINK token by itself does anything, and the mainnet isn't completed yet.

Another thing I noticed is that it has a pretty bearish chart at the moment. It's dropping steeply in USD, BTC, and ETH value. Since the coin itself has no value, why should I expect it to raise in the future?

Another coin I've been looking at is FunFair (https://funfair.io). It's got a great team, a launched mainnet, plus it's mooning right now which is a big plus. Another cool thing is that the FunFair token has intrinsic value (a little is burned with every transaction, so there's deflationary pressure on the supply even if you don't use it for anything yourself - cool!).

What do you guys think?

you are no trader, you are just a retard who wants to try the crypto hype. Invest in something and hope your gamble is the next *100.

you're a smart guy, op. you've figured out LINK is a worthless meme (most anons do not get past this stage). trust your gut

>> No.12807870

There are 3 or 4 anons on here that loaded up on LINK bags and autistically post LINK threads all day. It's just something you have to tolerate on biz. Don't listen to them, and be thankful you don't suffer the same condition.

And you're right. It had a run, and is on the way down.

Look at Nex. Nash exchange is launching end of March. Price is slowly rising each day, which is much preferred over pump and dump.

After careful review, I've decided on the following stack:

> 25% REQ
> 25% FunFair
> 25% QTUM
> 10% LINK
> 10% LTC
> 5% iExec RLC

What do you guys think?

Get rid of LINK, QTUM, and iExec. They’re shitcoins all without a working project and planned mainnet is on permissioned (private) chains. The tokens for all 3 of those that are publicly traded rely only on speculative value from investors and any money from companies will flow in their own networks.

Chose companies with working products.
Litecoin REQ and Funfair are all solid projects. I would suggest Ethereum classic as well as Tron if you want to balance your portfolio out some more.
