>got finessed by JNT because ‘muh $250,000,000 waiting to be tokenized’
>see all these new coins being shilled but don’t know who’s legit and who’s BSing

Been stacking ETH and BAT but am interested in finding a third coin that’s got a small MC...anyone got tips on fundamental analysis of cryptos? I need to find a way to parse through the garbage and find the actually useful stuff.

>fundamentals
fundamentals mean shit in this space, follow and ride the hype trains but know when to get out

I got suqa'd into buying this absolute shitcoin. Then it dumped and I only managed to break even on half my stack. Some greasy turkish guys are behind the project, literally a kebab coin.

The same thing happened to me with JNT. Every time I see a promising project, I just remember the 250M waiting to be tokenized. It was such a sure thing. I had never been so sure of a project in my life. Ever since that happened, I immediately think of that every time I see a promising project. It burned me so bad. It's not even the fact that I lost that money. Its that it was the only project I was so confident in that I started shilling it to people I knew ( friends, family, coworkers). I never did that with any other project.
I completely understand where you are coming from OP.

You got suckered twice just like the rest of us...and now you want to go in a third time? You just don’t learn. Transfer everything you got into BTC (80%) and ETH (20%)...that’s the only way to make it their this crypto winter. Remember we also have another year or two to go. I’ve learned you buy shitcoins on the way up not down. “Buy the dip” only works if there are tips to sell.

Well it's a glorified research project at the end of the day. They may well contribute to Ethereum research goals (although Plasma could easily be outflanked by other L2 solutions/Polkadot etc.) but their quixotic goal of reshaping banking is SEA in just ridiculous. Their CEO can hardly speak English, they have about 30 staff and they're one of a number of startups in the space in Thailand - a country with a barely functioning bureaucratic and regulatory framework. They fortuitously managed to find out about VItalik and Etherum early on and hitched a ride but their vision and goal is delusional at best.

I can see that some stuff is hyped and will obviously pump, LTO and such, but I am looking to limit my tax liability by only buying stuff I can hold for at least a year for long term capitol gains tax.
