Anybody here making anything off instagram? My personal insta has 5,5k followers (real). I'm a bodybuilder (by no means any fame to my name), and i post workout pics, max lifts, daily life shit etc..

I've done one paid gig so far with a spraytan, but nothing else. Any advice when it comes to instagram? I started mine in may, so been going at it for 9 months. Aim is 15k followers before 2020.

Do brands usually reach out, or should i be reaching out to them? clothing, supplements etc.. I don't want the basic ambassador bullshit program they give to every single pajeet out there. I want to be paid to promote things

You should reach out. look what products other body builders are pushing and try to contact those companies or similar companies. My brother is a bodybuilder and i remember him staying up all night every night looking for sponsors and reaching out to everyone he could. Goodluck man.

alright. I've been putting off trying to reach out to brands, cuz the more followers i have, the better of a chance i have. I'll start brand hunting and see if that gets me a deal somewhere! Would be nice to have a side gig earning some extra cash. Being a big guy isn't cheap.

that's simply false. You don't need anywhere near that amount. Sure it gives you a lot more recognition and more leverage when it comes to payment, but there are tons of literal who's with sub 5k followers getting sponsored and payed for promotional posts. Although, 99% of them are girls, but that doesn't mean you need 50k followers to get a little bit of side money going from promotional content.

The max you'll earn with 5k followers is around $5-10 per promotion. I run e-commerce websites and I literally pay meme pages with 50-90k followers like $20-30 for a 24 hour post.
