Also solar city is likely to use fslr tetrasun panels soon. because new trade tarrifs are going to make chian unatractive and other panel providers are planning to compete with solarcity. There are a few reasons why the spike in nat gas has been so deceiving. The first is that while this has been a cold and snowy winter, we need to take a look at the influence of coal power. With nat gas prices sky rocketing, there is an increased demand for coal, and the nat gas supplies aren't getting hit as hard as they were. Plus you had a revision on last week's report showing the draw down in supply wasn't as dramatic as first estimated. Plus with weather warming back up, the transport and delivery of nat gas is going to be easier.

This correction is expected, and it isn't just profit taking

No there won;t be a crisis for solar. Actually there may be a temporary crisis for competing power sources like coal and nuclear.

>why am I convinced on soalr

Because the writing is on the wall. Solar efficiency and cost scaling follows a trend similar to moores law. It is not slowing down anytime soon because we have barely tapped into solar technology potential. Cheap panels are still at 13% efficient and expensive panels are still at 21-24%

There is much room for improvement up to 50% and beyond as well as room for cost reduction.

In a few decades solar power will be so cheap it will be cheaper than dirty water, essentially almost free. The cause of the industrial revolution was a source of power the ability to do work essentially.

Solar will provide the power source of the next industrial revolution. Nuclear is too expensive in comparison. And fusion is still a pipe dream.

>Challenges
storage of course.. but things will happen with energy storage as well. Solar could be converted to hydrogen for example which could be burnt with water vapor emissions. Or advanced batteries

what other power source can scale in cost like this and is this abundent? none

what power source is this safe and easy to use that someone can have it on their own home on their own gadgets? none pretty much

In the future work will be done by machines and supercomputers automated and they will sue power as their fuel of the next industrial revolution.

It's going to explode....

correction...

it is exploding now.

the price point is already cheaper than utilities in many areas and that will only be increasing with time. SCTY will be offering finance for solar so you don't have to pay anything to even get solar. they lock in a lower energy rate for you and instal the panels. Power plants are starting to join the arms race they can't let residents take all the glory. However on thing about solar cities model i do not like is they are betting on power prices remaining the same. they won;t imo electricity prices will crash in the next 5 years. And solar city is going to make a fortune because their contracts all have increasing price models or flat price models for their customers. Some people who are getting solar city modules now are going to regret their decision i think. they will be paying more than electricity costs soon.

That sounds plausible, but that's a really weak reason to sell off. Apple's pipeline seems like it's on point.

They better not stumble on their watch idea. i dunno to me the whole watch phone concept seems ahead of it's time or gimmicky. the hardware sector is reeving up the competition they need to lead in software and apps.

They need to get working on biological implants or something comon step it up spend that dosh. Couldn't do anything better than stock buyback....

Invest until it's announced, price will go up a significant amount.

I'll be watching updates on apple products, as soon as something negative gets announced for a product, investors hope off that shit.
