Something about insurance companies paying 4chan users $1000 per instance of them accessing their own data (they presently do this millions of times per day) using a technology that's slower than a spreadsheet on a mobile phone. This entire project is being developed GRADUALLY by a 2 man team, one of which doesn't even have any technical chops (philosophy major); meanwhile, no less than three other companies have already delivered three different working test products.

Basically, the details aren't important; $1000eoy!!

And there are no CONFIRMED partnerships, despite what you'll hear here. The whole crypto network is waiting for Chainlink mainnet to go live.

Pretty much everything else you guys invested in will go to zero without decentralized oracles. Your smartcontract platforms need data. There is no connectivity at this time.

Its like websites were built without the internet. You can have as many Smartcontracts and partnerships as you like. Without connectivity they are useless.

The network a decentralized system has built around it is the most valuable aspect. This is why ETH has already won the space of dApp platforms. The reason bitcoin is so expensive despite being archaic is because of its network. This is not a difficult concept to grasp. Anyone can essentially copy bitcoins code and create their own bitcoin but guess what retards, your copy of bitcoin isn’t going to be worth jack shit because no one is using it.Look up network affect, and metcafles law which are ESPECIALLY true when talking about a decentralized network. you know, one that relies on nodes in order to function. as it stand, dApps are glorified tokenized assets because guess what moron, there isn’t a solution to safely and securely deliver data onto smart contracts.

Speed is not an argument as to why a company would switch to a decentralized method. If they wanted a fast database they would simply use a centralized ledger. The ONLY advantage a decebtralied system has over a centralized one is security. Are you following along? So think settlement failure, which accounts for billions and billions of lost dollars in any given Month, and think how smart contracts can greatly help ease this problem in finance, then realize smart contracts will need a safe stream of data in order to accomplish this task.

I sometimes wonder why I even bother helping you brainlets when it usually goes in one ear and out the other.

Link is not som fix all solution that completely finds truth for 100% of all quantifiable data. You would need some omnipotent AI that gives 100% correct outputs like Hal 9000 for that to be a reality.

Link is simply a method of transferring data from point A to point B while attempting to maximize security and minimizing down time. In a perfect world link will aggregate data from multiple sources. Having a trusted stream of data which people pay for the ensure their smart contract stays trustless is not easily described as “connecting to a centralized source”, it’s a problem that the greatest minds in this market are working towards and no one yet really has an answer if decentralization is truly the way forward. It’s part and parcel of speculating on this technology.

You must be somewhat new because this FUD got to a lot of people and this was discussed extensively a year ago.
