This will give it a little bump at best, but don't expect much. At least not in the short term. BAT's a strategic long term bet.

Digital advertising is a huge fucking market and it's only going to grow. We're talking hundreds of billions of dollars spent yearly. BAT's market cap is a measly $150M compared to that.

The Google/Facebook duopoly is gobbling up everyone else's revenue in this space. The market's hungry for a competitor. If BAT can position itself as a viable alternative model, it could grow into something huge. But it'll take time to develop, Brave hasn't even hit version 1.0 yet.

Whether they can actually pull it of on a techincal level is the crucial question and it's too early to tell.
