I'm watching like 20+ different charts and i have intel i7 7th gen.

isit normal to be so high cpu usage or is it normal because i have like 20+ charts open all the time.

i7 7700hq 2.81ghz 16gb ddr4 and those 20+ tabs eat about 2.5GB of ram. still some of the tabs froze and the pages appear blank and i need to reload them.

Most websites are programmed by absolute brainlets and pajeets. It is much easier to expect consumers to upgrade their hardware than to pay up for good written code. That's why you see in most consumer fields basically no difference than 10 years ago. Computers got faster and code got slower.
