well I'm in a 24% tax bracket, so I can write off $3000 this year and carry over the other $2943 on next year's return and should be able to reduce my tax liability by $720 this year and 706.32 next year which would be refunded to me. I'm not going to turn down a free $1426.32

I have no idea how to report my thousands of (losing) scalp trades. Its unbelievable you cant just summarize gains/losses.

Will most likely just ignore the problem until the IRS finds a more commonsense solution. This is asinine. My total deposits through Coinbase are less than 12k USD, so hopefully nothings been reported.
