I'm tired of missing low caps that end up mooning quite easily. What's something on the ground floor I can get into RIGHT NOW?

Cept the lead dev has no idea what he is doing. He’s so naive is actually sad. All coins that use crypto night will die soon. They are getting fucked in the ass and don’t realize how bad they have it.

You need to dig through the cesspool of over 1000+ microcaps and find a good one that has an active dev team. Accumulate a ton of it and just hold unti it moons. That's how you really make it in crypto.

Crypto night is designed to be a scam. It was literally made to be confusing to optimize. Most people don’t realize privacy coins don’t need to run cryptonight algo. I think calling them crypto note was to help with the obfuscation.

Basically the issue is that they are the perfect test beds for FPGA rigs. There are lots of them. They are small and weak and complicated. Big companies are starting to play with FPGAs a lot. Where are they gonna practice? Notice how lots of CN coins are scrambling to change their algo? Why monero has 50% unknown hash. This is medical/aerospace companies literally just fucking around. Inb4 Nerva is pool resistant. The key is *resistant* not proof.

It is possible that there is government/large tech companies involved. If that is the case it’s possible PoW is dead entirely

wow that's quite interesting actually. can you explain why is cryptonight so prone to fpga's? dont spare any details im a programmer by trade.

>> No.12628396

>>12628344
Just wait. Things are not looking good. PoW depends on rational good faith miners. These people with a lot of hash don’t give a fuck about the coin. It’s really just gravy. CN coins will be milked dry and then sent to the slaughterhouse. Especially ones that try to stay ahead of ASICs. It’s easy hunting grounds

>> No.12628412

>>12628395
See my above. ASICs are actually good in some ways. They make fpga mining not worth while.

Speculation time
Monero has traditionally tried to keep ASICs off the network. Or so they say. This is 100% bullshit. I believe change the algo so they can spend 6 months optimizing their miners and release a cripple miner for the public. Eventually their advantage is reduced and they fork. The side effect of this is it opened up the possibly for a 3rd party to come and take the network from them.

CHX has pumped so much recently tho isn't it gonna dump soon?

>> No.12628423

>>12628395
I also think that if a coin like Nerva/monero/masari/stellite/turtle etc got too big it would stand an existential threat to the government/standard power structure. If this doesn’t kill them the government has the hash to kill them. Monero has the most weight to their chain. But to a Dept with bullions of dollars in budget a couple mil is nothing

Nothing I said in that post is untrue. The fastest growing job in tech right now is FPGA related. FPGA mining is raping all CN coins that aren’t ASIC friendly.

Short term, possibly. Or not. Not really worth missing the boat over finding the perfect entry point. Maybe dollar cost average if that's your thing, current market cap is still a steal though.
