Great question. The bottom of a crash pattern is defined by an extended period of reduced price volatility and volume. You can see the same phenomenon at the end of the dot com bubble, gold, and bitcoin's previous crash pattern.

Unfortunately we're going to see compression as defined by that purple band for a while. Expect lateral trading, restarting trend will be very difficult. To answer, you buy in when link does nothing but go sideways for a week to allow the compression of short term distributions. That's the same as potential energy.

3D Wave PM. It's derivative of Mark Whistler's Wave PM, a tool that defines the expansion and compression of a distribution and relates it in terms of mass. The more mass something has, the harder it is to move. When something is rolling down a hill and has a lot of mass, it will be much harder to stop. This all ties into mean reversions.

3D wave PM shows 32 separate periods of mass as a heatmap. The hotter the color, the wider distributional width is for that period.

great profit ratio. I'm very interested in trading this actually. Keeping an eye on the 15m chart to grab a long entry as soon as the appropriate CCI period rolls up. Trend on the 4h is defined as up. The trend on the 15m is defined as down. As soon as the 15m enters a state of compression instead of downward trend, the pull of the longer period's trend will resume will be a high probability slingshot. Of course, if the 4h chart breaks its defined pivots for trend, then long term mean reversion will occur and we'll see a pullback to the pink line on the 4h. I predict we'll get a short term lateral move on the 15m chart.
https://www.tradingview.com/x/MlQVwtRi/
when we reenter the blue band on the 15m chart that will be the highest probability entry for a long on TRX. Alternatively, a green candle close inside the 3.2 stdev of the 50 period on the 1h chart would be an excellent entry as well.

It's ok to feel frightened by things you don't understand. However, the best fix for this is to educate yourself rather than lashing out. I can recommend you read Mark Whistler's Macro to Micro if you'd like to get an understanding of volatility theory, maybe then things will be less scary.

trend is broken. There will be a relief rally but there's little point in trying to catch that falling knife. Even if it does reverse it will need to flag to allow short term distributions to compress.
>>12617074

signs of accumulation but nothing I'd bet on. Wait for positively weighted mean period volatility and an upward trend to consider a position. Compression is good, but you don't want to bet on it without an implied direction.
>>12618304
https://www.tradingview.com/x/EW5b6oei/
You're right, that is funky. Lateral trading as defined by the purple band is implied at least for a few more hours, but because the 50 distributions and below are so compressed that doesn't really mean much does it.

I checked the macro level timeframes...
scratch that. Price volatility is high due to conflicting institutional iceberging resulting in choppy trading.
https://www.tradingview.com/x/Ms8nYaaj/
If something doesn't make sense on a lower timeframe, check out the higher timeframes for the reason.

Surprise surprise.
Typical shill strategy of making you feel special and important. Established figures like Graham never made retarded claims like this and openly bashed gurus like your God Whistler. Only difference between you and this fag is he's a successful shill while you're a worm of an imageboard shill. You most likely shill BBQ sauce on the side as well like Brandt to make you your money. You can go ahead and give me your smartass reply, I only ask you to promise to remain on this board for the next few months, though I know you won't. I promise I'll link this thread and apologize to you if bullishness comes back (it won't). Please screencap this and call me out in case I don't appear on my own.
