FUCK smartcash
Completely justed me
Network was rife with fraudulent staking rewards (SmartRewards) for months where nodes kept getting the "random" payouts over and over, then cloning themselves to make more nodes to get more payouts.
Admins ban you on discord for asking, they eventually release a patch.
1/3 of the nodes are offline.
Promise a concept of "SuperNodes" alongside "SmartNodes"
Yesterday they announce the staking requirements in 2 weeks for SmartNodes to continue is 10x what it used to be. Admin claims its for network quality. In reality its just a way to force node owners to pony up more capital to keep going because no one wants this dogshit. Was 10,000 needed, now will be 100,000.
Also - while the fraud is going on - devteam (all anonymous) decides to make a fork called BitcoinConfidential focusing on privacy. Rather than integrate it into SmartCash they will just run 2 projects.
BitcoinConfidential airdrops at some insane multiplier like 10,000:1 to SmartCash.
People are dumping this shit because the node rewards are fucking pennies anyway, and now it's going to be $1K USD minimum to run, or just shutting off their VPS.
Admins are either totally clueless or bad actors.
