>I'm new to the stock market, what stocks should I buy?
Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.

Highest quality of living if you fit in the narrow scope of like acceptable human being for that time, and also aren't interested in exploring any ideas slightly unorthodox. And you get what, slightly lower unemployment and higher wages for a couple of years for that narrow band until your society collapses because it's just not a solid foundation. Fascism doesn't stop communism it usually just makes people want to try communism out because the other side was so bad. And vice a versa, see Brazil lol.

AWS introduced Amazon Managed Blockchain a new service to help companies build applications where multiple parties can execute transactions without the need for a trusted, central authority. Amazon Managed Blockchain makes it easy to create and manage scalable blockchain networks using the popular, open source Ethereum and Hyperledger Fabric frameworks. With a few clicks in the AWS Management Console, customers can set up a blockchain network that can span multiple AWS accounts and scale to support thousands of applications and millions of transactions.

If past behaviour on the dude weed is anything to go on, it'll retrace 25% in as little as a single day, bear trap back about half of that or possibly go straight back to a double top, 50%+ crash, consolidate, and resume.

The dude weed isn't losing top meme stock sector ranking any time soon. After the violent dumpening that's coming it'll rise again, and again, and so on. I think the next US federal election will have several candidates in the primaries running with federal legalization included in their platform. Doesn't even matter if they win, so long as it FEELS like the ball is rolling down hill towards fed legal during the campaign season, it will be enough to fuel more speculative bubbling.

in usa is very different than in europe, asia and australia. most loans are fixed rates, so raising rates starts to effect mainly new loans, not the loan base! this is why you have delayed effect on housing prices. 3% rates = 5% loan, 5% rates = 7% loan etc. in europe and asia you have mixed fixes and floating mortgages, so rising rates have quicker impact there on housing. then you have the ridiculous student loan crisis getting worse in usa that is why kids are not able ever to pay houses, 50% are not even paying back they student loans they can barely pay interest

Green today. GE had a good day for once. I think they may be on track to turning things around, least going by the earnings report. The healthcare spinoff is coming sometime in 2019. GE now claims to be keeping a controlling interest in it (51%) and the rest will be split between shareholders and the ipo. What the exact percentages are is still up in the air. They've done the same with BHGE, kept a controlling interest (50.08), with some of it sold for profit and the rest traded under BHGE. The plan is to eventually split off the remaining stake with shareholders getting a chunk of it and I guess the rest will be sold. The Wabtech deal is closing end of February. GE shareholders will get 24% stake in W upon closure.

AMRN, DIS, T, FOX, and Comcast are all up. Only MSFT was down. though not by much.
