Sha-256 has another 10-15 years before it's crypto-algorithm becomes obsolete. No, its not weak; its a type of currency. Everybody knows that all currency is recalled back to the issuing mint once every 5-7 years for distruction and reissuance. In the next 10-15 years, Bitcoin will be forced to recall all outstanding coins for distruction and reissue Sha-512 coins as a replacement. In all areas of commerce, fraud is generally accepted as unavoidable; however, Bitcoin still has a long way to go before the system must be upgraded. Contrary to popular belief, I am not wealthy as many speculate. Most of the coins from the original genesis block are "nailed down" to it, so they cannot be moved. In addition to this, most of those early blocks were mined as "test blocks" for the wallet software. Those early wallet addresses were queued into existence by a "getnewaddress" randomizer that automatically created random passwords for testing and benchmarking the mining process. I do NOT have access to either those coins or wallet addresseses. About myself: I have been living in Bali, Indonesia since 2004. I live off approx. $3,000USD per month; a very modest lifestyle. I am a huge Russel Crowe fan. I am married with three childen.

A few things.

1. I agree that sha-256 will become obsolete.
2. sha-256 will become obsolete because of quantum computers, not because of better traditional computing hardware. Traditional hardware is reaching its maximum potential.
3. When quantum computing becomes more successful and accessible, the sha functions are obsolete, including sha-512. BTC will need updated to a quantum-resistant algorithm.
4. You used the wrong its/it's, thrice.
5. You should really mention BTC before you start saying "it" referring to BTC. In the first two sentences I thought you were talking about sha-256 when you were saying "it" because it was the first subject you used and nothing made a damn bit of sense.

Just some tips
