Oracle problem is made up nonsense
A simple json parser can be coded in 2 hours by any competent blockchain dev when needed.

>> No.12557496

A credible way to take data from external sources still requires either specially constructed APIs outside the system or something like chainlink, meaning competing oracles.
If Holo solves the oracle problem, it solves it by reconstructing Chainlink inside of it's system.

Interoperability means you can have whatever code you want on the holochain system. You can code your own block chain into it if thats what your Dapp needs.

The oracle problem isn't that big, Link whales make it seem that way in order to create the perfect illusion(1000$ meme for example) to feed delusional people.

Since Holochain is not keeping track of a ledger but of agents and their reputation/state, an agent can publish all kinds of data and if he's reputable enough he can be used as an oracle, or a developer can code several oracles into their hAPP by defining a trust/reliabilty threshold for their data sources.

Each agent in a hApp shares the DHT portions they have witnessed according to the validation rules of the hApp. All transmissions are end to end encrypted. Further security layers can be utilized by each user. Trustless is possible through self auditing nodes that maintain a public record of immutable events. Multiple oracles could be utilized to cross referrence and when divergence is detected operations could be frozen and notices sent so a human can check on the status.

"can", using a lot of business speak.

how will "multiple oracles" be used? Why should I run an oracle?

>> No.12557786

You already know the answer

Close your eyes, try to clear any thoughts you are having
Take long, slow, deep breathes and put all your focus and attention onto your breathing
iiiiiiiinnnn.................... ooooooooooooouuuut

good. Do this for a few minutes, then -
VISUALIZE yourself becoming rich through your LINK investment
ANTICIPATE the things you will buy with your new found abundance of wealth
IMAGINE as though it is all happening now in the present moment, for the present moment is all that truly exists
MOST IMPORTANTLY
FEEL the way you will FEEL when that moment comes and you make it!
FEELING THE EMOTION IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN JUST VISUALIZING THE IMAGES!

Now open your eyes, look in a mirror, and recite these affirmations (use/add your own that is relevant to the reality you want to create once you make it)
I AM RICH
I AM WEALTHY
I AM A MILLIONAIRE
LINK HAS GIVEN ME INFINITE ABUNDANCE
It's important to do this when you wake up and before you go to bed, but do it as often as possible. Also hold the image and idea of us making it and LINK being worth $1,000 or more in your mind as you fall to sleep.

WHEN WE DO THIS COLLECTIVELY MY LINK BROTHERS, THE UNIVERSE WILL SEE TO IT THAT CERTAIN EVENTS, PEOPLE AND CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ALIGN AND BE ATTRACTED TO US - THAT WILL ALLOW OUR DESIRE TO MANIFEST INTO REALITY!
I love you all

link is worthless, holochain solves the oracle problem because since it's agent centric you can not only pick agents based on their reputation, allowing you to define it programatically but also agents with IRL identities that can be held liable for publishing misleading information on holochain.
it's so fucking simple how the fuck are you mongoloids still struggling with this?

>it’s solves MUH ORACLE PROBLEM!

Everyone single person in this thread is a brainlet. Why do you fags keep repeating that muh shitcoin project solves the Oracle problem? Do any of you idiots realize just how deep the Oracle problem is and just how far away we are from solving it?
The only way to truly solve the Oracle problem is to have some sort of omnipotent AI that gives 100% correct outputs. Think HAL 9000 from 2001.

Now stop saying,
>MUH LINK SOLVES THE ORACLE PROBLEM BECAUSE MUH DECEBTRALIZED ORACLES!
Or
>MUH HOLO SOLVES THE ORACLE PROBLEM BY DEFAULT BECAUSE MUH TRUSTED NODES

YOU GUYS ARE ALL BRAINLETS

The power of a decentralized network is from it's size and quality. Chainlink should be racing to secure its market share because of that. Holo can create it's own chainlink clone but it won't matter because everyone will use the more secure network. The bigger network. Chainlink mainnet. This is also the reason why private chains or forks won't impact mainnet as much as everyone says they will.

this you fucking mongoloid, how the fuck do you brainlets still not grasp that holochain is the key to mass adoption?
In the real world businesses want to be able to sue the shit out of anyone if they fuck them on a deal, until crypto offers them that option they will never adopt it.
Holochain offers both the ability to judge an anonymous agent by it's online reputation online or to hold a non anonymous agent accountable.

So why aren't there any? Why are they selling Holoports for close to $1,000 a piece? Even Sony and Microsoft release their new consoles when they have a network of games and they're good to go. There isn't anything worthwhile dapps yet on Holochain. Great tech is good and all until there's nothing to play it. That's like having a 67' Corvette but only dirt roads to drive it on.
