How long until I can expect to have 'good credit'? A year, multiple years? Are there any 'tricks' to getting good credit?

I post here like once a year. Congratulations. I have had a 700 credit score for my entire adult life . I'm here to tell you, it doesn't fucking matter and its just a number Jews point to when they want to justify an interest rate.

Ok , how about having $20 million net worth and a 500 fico score.
Your $20million is shit.
These Jews run the fucking world

There ARE tricks to boost your credit.

1.) Pay your bills on time. I can't stress this enough. Late payments last almost a decade on your credit report. Always make payments bigger than the minimum payment due.

2.) Open up a new credit card every year. Request limit increases on your cards every 1 to 1.5 years.

3.) Do not rack up debt on your cards equal to or more than 50% of your limit for a long period of time. Try to keep your balance as low as possible.

4.) Use your card for as many purchases as possible. Get a cash back card, it adds up. (I recommend Chase Freedom for you, and Chase Freedom Unlimited as your score goes up)

5.) Check your credit score at least once a year. If it goes above 700, apply for an American Express or a Discover Card and use them as your primary.

t. 750+ credit score; parents with 800+ credit scores.

Good luck, Anon.

Absolutely.

800+ is almost unheard of. My parents are treated like royalty by banks when credit scores are checked.

Not unheard of but diminishing returns on score increases the higher you go. Took me ~10 years to break 800 from first 1k limit college credit card, prepaid car loan and never had a mortgage. And yeah diminishing returns for score over 760 from creditors too

I agree with you. I said almost unheard of, not impossible. I've been working on breaking 800 for years as well.

Wasn't bragging, just exemplifying the great benefits of having excellent credit.

Just got justed on my credit score... was sitting at 720 and building for last 2 years. Screwed it in college with a phone bill I tried to challenge. Got my first credit card and car loan. Here I am using the cards on purpose to build credit... first card is a shitty $300 limit capital one any smuck can get. Go to increase limit after 2 years and find out I missed 2 payments and it’s locked... wtf been working 45 days straight bc I work on a boat. Went from 720+ to 640 over $120 on my shitty secondary card. Normally keep that and my main high limit card paid off every month but I just totally forgot about it... justed by the Jews so hard

Lesson learned, just use your shit card for sketchy transactions and pay it off right away... I see my main card balance every day on my bank app, was totally clear there. Anyone think calling capital one will fix some of my score? Like if I say I’ll leave a positive balance? Does that even help?
