Should i invest in the stock market or pay off all of my student loans? I'm currently in college and I have enough to pay them off completely (I'll probably have to take out more in the future though). However I could invest in the market or in my Roth IRA for this year.

All my accounts are as follows. 5k in my roth, 7k in stocks and 8k in crypto, 11k in the bank and 9.5k of student debt.

The loans are from FASA so i don't have to start paying them till i get out and they have 5% interest.

I really fucking hate this image. You can simulate any chart pattern with some stochastic process but that doesn't mean the pattern is completely random. Stochastic processes have a RANDOM component to their function but the function isn't dependent solely on random variables.

Prices are driven largely by self-fulfilling prophecies and human psychology. There are also other factors like the way the game is rigged to work (stop losses, limit orders, etc). And finally actual news and info on the project affect it.. a little something called fundamental analysis.

Neither. Just sit on it for a year or so until the markets stabilize. Investing in the stock market now would be a fools errand IMO.
