If inflation is quickly rising should you be rushing to swap your money to another currency?

Lets just think through this for a second anons.

If hyperinflation where to occur.
The price of a crypto would soar because of everyone dumping money into it.
Unless people start pulling money out of crypto to pay for baskets to hold their bread in then the price would plummet.

But the problem is people need to be able to buy things with said crypto, so it needs to have a fast transaction speed.
That rules bitcoin out.
So unironically Tron? But even then its not fast enough to support the entire world.
This makes me think people will go with whatever is shilled to them, so basically the top 10 on coinmarket cap and you're probably safe to make it.

Let me conclude this.
>The price of a crypto would soar because of everyone dumping money into it.
However, since fiats worth has plummeted, just because the price of a crypto has risen still means is onl worth as much as the fiat.
Then the gov introduces a new currency, everyone will dump their crpyto into the new currency and /makeit/ or will they
This would only transfer the problem of inflation from one currency to another, assuming everyone dumps into crpyto.
So basically, one countries hyperinflation could make a few rich, but if the world hyperinflated then we would just fuck ourselves over.

This leads me to conclude that you should invest in crypto on the assumption that when it happens everyone else is too retarded to invest.
But learning from Christmas 2017 people are sheep and will jump on the band wagon. So should everyone seek to /preserve/ their /wealth/ it would literally leave the world in an endless cycle of hyperinflation. Are we fucked?

The only reason btc was successful in Venezuela when their currency crashed was because the dollar is still a viable currency and most Venezuelans were using that instead. They had an alternate fiat currency they could use. If the dollar fails we don't have a one world fiat currency to fall back on.

Ok here's a drop of philosophy:
(Disclaimer: not talking about blockchain tech, but btc specifically)
You have this thing called bitcoin. It's not a standout player in any category, in fact it's second or third in all standard exchange commodity fields, and doesn't even show up to play for store of value. Moreover, after almost 15 years, and billions of dollars jettisoned, there hasn't been a specialized use found for it.

But... it still does some stuff ok, and could probably become a true player in store of value, if the speculators would fuck off forever, and let it even try to fill that role.

This leads me to hypothesize quickly, bitcoin isn't the problem; the people that bitcoin attracts are the problem.

Bitcoin will forever be the little engine that couldn't as long as it remains the perceived magical cure to getting a job and engaging in life for the modern internet savvy underclass.

If you love something, let it go. YOU, 4chan, ARE KILLING BITCOIN.

Ther german currency wasnt a global currency. In modern day hyperinflation scenarios in other countries they can smuggle US dollars to transact with. Now take that currency and hyperinflate it and you have chaos.
