AMA to a venezuelan that hasn't taken a shower in 48 hours because there's no water. My only relief is to be able to use a slow mobile internet and to post here. Work as a recepcionist at a English Course which i graduated from, my monthly revenue is 6.5$. My parents are asking me to be more productive, they see me as a worthless human being. The Government blocked xvideos.com, wikipedia.com, youtube.com and several pages that are "dangerous" for our "fatherland" so i can't jerk off, search articles or watch videos without using a VPN. There have been 4 black outs today, waiting for the next one

I have a few suggestions:

1. As far as a VPN goes, you can get on the darknet and buy a hacked lifetime NordVPN subscription. They’re about $7 and change. While I thought it was a great idea because that’s the price of a take out lunch in America, it may be too much for you, but then again accessing blocked sites might be a big deal so could be a good investment after all for you.

2. On all of the bitmex suggestions. Yeah you don’t want to go gamble your shit on there hoping to make it big, BUT keep in mind that they PAY YOU to be a market maker there - to the tune of 0.025% of your total position, to be exact, and the key thing there is that that scales with your leverage. Meaning, if you set a limit order to buy a $10 position at 100x, and then successfully close the position with another limit order set just $0.05 above your entry (the minimum tick) - you’re making 5% back of whatever you put in the trade, with literally almost no risk, unless you get so incredibly unlucky as to have BTC decide to bart down within those 30 seconds your position is open. But watch carefully and you can see the signs before that kind of thing happens anyway.

Not really a great option if you have no trading experience, but I’m mainly saying this to shut up the HURR DURR BITMEX GAMBLING LIFE SAVINGS TO ARTHUR’S DONATION FUND mouth breathers. Fucking artards don’t know the first goddamn thing about trading. But of course this is /biz/, what else should I expect.

3. Can you ship things OUT of your country? What kind of shit do you have lying around that you can sell me? Maybe we murcans could resell some of your shit at a big profit to both of us.

OP, are you able to regularly get food and such? Can you give us a realistic view of how a typical day looks for you? I worked with some Venezuelans last year and they were friendly, but compared to other Hispanics (namely Mexicans), they were much lazier. It seemed to be a cultural thing (I’m not saying this as an insult, just an observation). I learned about your nation’s history with Simon Bolivar, through to the present with Chavez and his current truck driver as president (the escualidos, etc etc). Do you have any connections to Miami? There is a large, wealthy Venezuelan population there and they are often trying to help one another.

Also, is it essentially impossible for you to leave Venezuela at this point?
