In the first world the test is actually somewhat difficult. i took lessons even though I had been driving for 7 years....

My Burger test
Do a 3 point turn in something you could turn around a lorry in!
Take the first 4 lefts at stop signs
park in the middle of 2 spaces

'your great at driving you need to work on your parking, here is your licence!'
my mum though i failed cause it was over in less than 5 min...

So much amerilards in this topic. I have been to the states last month and you guys are absolutely dogshit with driving. Here in the netherlands you pay at least 1300 dollars in total for driving lessons, if you really suck at driving you will need to spend more. I hated to spend this money, but at least most people here know how to handle a vehicle. In the states i would legit not drive a motorcycle because of the amount of rednecks and soccermoms driving SUVs on the road.

How much is the fine if they catch you without a ticket, and how frequent are the checks by security?

Again in Greece, checks are so infrequent I legitimately chose to not purchase tickets and just pay the 80€ fine once they caught me, once per year or once per two years.

I always tell them my reasoning and it's always fun to see security and other passengers get fucking buttmad for me not paying.

A rule means nothing if you can't enforce it.

In my country there's a chance that a faggot will take you and a couple other rule-breakers to his red van where his work partner writes you a fine, but I've been driving without a ticket for 5 months now, never been caught (even if I was caught, the fine would be 5 euro and increase later). You don't sound well travelled...

We have the 1st amendment, just as much as the mutts.
2nd Amendment, I know about the same number of people in the UK with guns as in the states, just different guns...
4th amendment is BS! the pigs will just say MUH DRUGS. Dogs can alert on command...
5th amendment is also BS! 1st off you can't plead innocent! You are either guilty or not guilty. 2nd off, are you not familiar the the insane bail system the Mutts use?

The reality is the system is it changed to a maritime jurisdiction back in the '30s...This gets complicated but we share the same legalities via treaty...

You probably have a few weeks left before actually taking the exam, and if you're not a brainlet, there's no chance you're failing.

Keep at it and dont listen to Americans saying you don't need it. A European citizen's professional life is built around the concept of an adult having a driver's license.

Is that a single fine? My underage friends were caught a bunch of times, they all got 5€ then 7€ or something fines, the bus pass costs 5.8€ a month. For adults I think it's 24€ a month, so I'm thinking 20-30€ fine?

>>12508313
Oh, that explains it. We mark our tickets inside the bus, and you only have to do that once a week/month/year, depends on the ticket, so no one even cares if you check it in the bus. There are some vans around staying at the stops, they check everyone's tickets once they get on a bus and takes them to the van and writes a fine. How long do buses stop for at the bus stops? Here, the bus takes less than a minute to stop, release the people, take new ones in and drive to the next stop.

Baltics (below Sweden). A 30 min ticket costs 66 cents (33 if in school), a month ticket costs 5.8 for me, but that's with an 80% discount because school (so 24€ for adults?). If you buy a paper ticket from the driver (lasts one bus travel), it costs 1€ (50 cents if school). Don't know how much adults are fined and I doubt if the security asks for explanations.
